Shamberg is a filmmaker whose work includes Tribeca (12 minutes, 1980/2008), a short film featuring the band A Certain Ratio, and Souvenir (78 minutes, 1998), a feature film, starring Stanton Miranda, Kristen Scott Thomas, Laurence Cöte, Melvil Poupaud and the voice of Christina Ricci. In 2005 Shamberg made The Temptation of Victoria, a short set to music by New Order, a band for whom he produced many videos with directors such as Jonathan Demme, Kathryn Bigelow, Robert Frank, Robert Breer and William Wegman. His last short film is ps Beirut Chapter 1 (2008). Shamberg’s Turtle Salon which began at Chelsea Space in London, 2006, returns to Paris in October 2008.
